Note: Human Resource professionals say that resumes filled with additional training, even if not in the field for the applied job, get moved to the top of the pile. Additional training demonstrates motivation and willingness to try different things.

At the GMCS Training Academy you can get certified AND licensed as a Security Guard, Traffic Control Technician, and in-house Security Guard/Bouncer. Additional specialized training courses in, band management, concert promoting, event production, and artist booking, and American Red Cross/CPR are also available.

There are currently no seminars scheduled.

What is a certification?
A certification is an examination or a record of work-related credentials. It is issued to an individual by an external organization. Certifications are voluntary but may be required by some employers in some occupations.

What is a license?
A license is given to you by the State upon completing certain requirements such as training and certification and a background check. The criteria differ from state to state.
