At the GMCS Training Academy you can get certified AND licensed as a Security Guard, Traffic Control Technician, and Bouncer. Additional specialized training courses in, band management, concert promoting, event production, and artist booking, and American Red Cross/CPR are also available.

What is a certification?

A certification is an examination or a record of work-related credentials. It is issued to an individual by an external organization. Certifications are voluntary but may be required by some employers in some occupations.

What is a license?

A license is given to you by the State upon completing certain requirements such as training and certification and a background check. The criteria differ from state to state.
